The Bricklane Gazette considers collaborations that genuinely fit local history, old buildings, and the people who care about places. We keep paid work distinct from independent coverage and make the nature of a partnership clear to readers.
Good fits
Possible collaborations include clearly identified educational features, support for relevant public history projects, and placements for organizations or services connected to historic places, archives, conservation, or local culture. We consider each proposal on its relevance and clarity, not on implied editorial influence.
Partner placements
We may accept sitewide partner placements when they are appropriate for the publication and clearly labelled wherever they appear. A placement does not mean the Bricklane Gazette endorses every claim or service associated with a partner. We do not accept arrangements that disguise advertising as independent reporting.
Editorial separation
Partners cannot buy a favourable article, dictate independent conclusions, or require us to suppress relevant context. Any agreed collaborative or paid material is identified in a way readers can recognize. We may decline work that is misleading, unrelated, or inconsistent with these standards.
Propose a collaboration
Use the Contact page and select partnership as the reason for writing. Describe the organization or project, the proposed format, any placement requested, and how the work would be funded or supported.
